Vitamins


  • We need vitamins for healthy growth of our body.
  • They are best taken by the way of food.
  • If you are healthy you are not in need of vitamin tablets or syrups.
  • Vitamin preparations are needed only when you are in a vitamin deficiency.
  • If you take vitamin tablets unnecessarily there is a risk of overload of vitamins.
  • Vitamin overload can cause symptoms like headache, hair-loss and skin rashes.
  • Therefore do not swallow vitamin tablets when they are not indicated.
  • Do not waste money buying vitamin preparations in the market to make you fit.
  • Instead spend the money to get a good balanced diet.
  • A balanced diet will supply all the vitamins and the other nutrients you need.
                    Vitamin Containing Food
 Vitamin A –Butter, Margarine, Carrot, Spinach, Mango  
 Vitamin B –Dhal, Meet, Eggs, Leafy Vegetables
 Vitamin C –Guava, Orange, Lemon, Tomato
 Vitamin D –Egg yolk, Liver of sea fish
           N.B:- Sunlight can make vitamin D in the skin.
